Rosemary's Baby (Blu-ray) - A young couple move into a new apartment, only to be surrounded by peculiar neighbors and occurrences. When the wife becomes mysteriously pregnant, paranoia over the safety of her unborn child begins controlling her life.

Lots of horror DVDs and Blu-rays being released this month for Halloween. This week Shout! Factory has released The Funhouse to DVD and Blu-ray. It stars the cute Elizabeth Berridge topless in two secens.

Director Tobe Hooper (The Texas Chainsaw Massacre, Poltergeist) pays affectionate tribute to various classic horror movies in this tale of two teenage couples who spend the night in a sleazy carnival funhouse.

Funkytown - The King of disco. The man with a secret life. The rising star eager to get ahead. The music producer desperate for one more hit. In Montreal in 1976, they all wanted to see and be seen at the trendiest club in town, and juggled freedom and tradition, lovers and family, drugs and sobriety, fame and anonymity, in a time when excess was the norm, and disco ruled. Road Trip (2000) Blu-ray -- In this raunchy comedy, Josh (Breckin Meyer), a student at a college in Ithaca, NY, videotapes his one-night stand with beautiful sorority girl Beth (Amy Smart). A few days later, Josh discovers that one of his friends accidentally mailed the homemade porn tape to his girlfriend, Tiffany (Rachel Blanchard), who is spending some time with her family in Austin, TX. Josh and his friends Barry (Tom Green), Kyle (D.J. Qualls), E.L. (Seann William Scott), and Rubin (Paulo Costanzo) borrow a car and hit the road in a desperate bid to intercept the tape before Tiffany loads it into her VCR; Beth, however, wants Josh for herself and has her own plans to track down Tiffany. Road Trip is the first fiction feature from director Todd Phillips, noted for such edgy documentaries as Hated: G.G. Allin & the Murder Junkies, Screwed, and Frat House. The cast also includes Fred Ward and Andy Dick.

The Entity (1982) Blu-ray - Carla Moran awakens one night to find herself being beaten and raped by an unseen presence. The researchers soon discover that evil spiritual force has been drawn to Carla and is responsible for the violent attacks. The question now, however, is how do they stop it? Based on a supposedly true story.

Projext X - 3 high school seniors throw a birthday party to make a name for themselves. As the night progresses, things spiral out of control as word of the party spreads.
